We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area. Main responsibilities are to be a people, customer, and a business manager to the organization.  You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential and crafting sales plans to meet company revenue targets through the activities of their account managers.   

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure a high professional standard and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
  • Meet with representatives one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets while coaching to improve performance.
  • Track account managers via performance plans and metrics/KPI’s and share them with RVP.
  • Ensure account managers are using C4C for customer visits and opportunity/funnel management.
  • Develop and grow business of assigned accounts.
  • Assist in the production, completion, and implementation of yearly business plans for account managers.
  • Unite the team, ensure account managers work as a positive unit sharing best practices.
  • Analyze sales data/sales results and use for proactive and reactive sales tactics to prepare/review for future growth, adequate market coverage, and performance gaps.
  • Report results, trends and recommended improvements to RVP.
  • Provide mentorship and training, and onboarding new salespeople, along with active participation in recruiting, hiring and termination.
  • Deliver performance reviews for each individual in a timely manner.
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers or clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Management of the indirect sales model (channel partners).   Resolve competitive channel conflict when necessary.
  • Prepare yearly budgets for applicable territories.
  • Align company product and pricing goals with market needs.
  • Project and forecast annual and quarterly/monthly revenue for sales territory(s).
  • Collaborate with marketing and RVP to develop future product development plans, providing revenue and unit forecasting models to sales leadership and product management.
  • Monitor competition, industry trends/advancements and leading economic indicators.
Knowledge & Experience:
  •  3-5 years of direct/indirect industrial sales experience.
  • 4-year college undergraduate education or equivalent experience.
  • Up to 50% travel via car/plane.
  • 2-3 years management experience preferred.
