HR Generalist

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Supports new hire orientation and facilitation; pre-employment and offboarding activities.
- Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company.
- Assist in writing and development of HR policies, procedures, forms, memos, templates, and letters.
- Assist in promoting good employee/company relations through recognition and appreciation activities and events.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor Degree preferred; SHRM certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and people skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently, and within a team environment to support the overall HR function.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As the HR Generalist, you will perform various human resources duties within the end-to-end, employee life cycle including, but not limited to, Onboarding, Inclusion and Diversity, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance and Policy Management, etc. The successful candidate is a pro-active, perceptive, and approachable person who is comfortable performing HR related duties on a professional level while working closely with HR management supporting the organization. Additionally, this person must be comfortable working in a factory/production environment.
