Primary Activities/Duties
- Lead and oversee operational leadership including Supervisors and Team Leaders for assigned areas.
- Apply the annual performance review process for direct reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery reliability, and team morale across all shifts.
- Manage staffing levels and maintain approved rosters.
- Identify and develop future leaders through coaching, feedback, and training.
- Establish and maintain 6S workplace standards to ensure a visitor-ready environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to pursue “Total Rittal” solutions for operational challenges.
- Coach teams to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize work area layout and eliminate waste.
- Represent operations in planning discussions and improvement initiatives.
- Promote and teach principles of “World Class” manufacturing through Rittal Production System (RPS) teams.
- Demonstrate effective project management and act as a role model for continuous learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Process or Manufacturing Engineering required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership environment.
- Prior leadership experience required.
- Solid understanding of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead remote teams across geographic locations.
- Experience managing project scope, cost, schedules, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in electronic or industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
