The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance organization to ensure safe, reliable, and world‑class operation of all production equipment and facility systems. This role drives uptime, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing a skilled technical team that supports manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Maintenance Department to support all operations and equipment.
- Ensure all operations are performed safely and support a zero‑accident environment.
- Meet/exceed targets for machine uptime, issue resolution, and organizational support.
- Support continuous improvement toward a world‑class manufacturing environment.
- Develop maintenance team members to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate effectively with peers across departments.
- Maintain equipment and systems to perform at or above OEM specifications.
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and support operator‑performed maintenance (OPM).
- Drive achievement of OEE targets.
- Develop and improve total preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Establish and execute the overall maintenance strategy.
- Ensure urgent and effective response to line‑down situations.
- Maintain proper preparedness including spare parts inventory and staffing levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis to permanently resolve equipment issues.
- Participate in production, staff, and project meetings.
- Secure best pricing and delivery for maintenance materials and services.
- Ensure accurate accounting of maintenance inventory.
- Support equipment acquisition, installation, and commissioning.
- Engage with peers and leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Promote and support 6S activities.
- Participate in benchmarking to support world‑class performance.
- Clearly define expectations and goals for employees and provide timely, accurate feedback
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Facilities, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
- Experience directing skilled technicians to achieve maximum equipment uptime.
- Experience with predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Background in sheet metal fabrication, welding, stamping, presses, brakes, shears, and various automated systems.
- Experience with e‑coat, powder coat, pad printing systems (preferred).
- Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Experience working with robotics and RSLogix PLC software.
- Knowledge of ABB and Motoman robotic systems.
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley PanelView HMIs, VFDs, and reduced‑voltage starters.
- Working knowledge of ProfiBus, DeviceNet, and AS‑i Bus systems (preferred).
