As the Sales Administration Level I, You Will...

Be responsible for ensuring customer orders and returns are processed accurately and efficiently using established processes to support on-time delivery and exceed customer expectations. This role works closely with Level II and Level III Sales Administrators and cross-functional teams to resolve order issues, communicate with customers, and ensure successful order completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders received through conventional order submission methods.
  • Verify account information, pricing, purchase orders, quantities, shipping locations, freight terms, and other order details.
  • Process sample and consignment orders.
  • Complete requests in accordance with established competency guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Level II and III Sales Administrators to resolve order discrepancies during order creation.
  • Process and maintain customer-initiated returns and stock rotations.
  • Communicate problem orders and concerns to Customer Service.
  • Work with Level II and III Sales Administrators to provide clarification on order-related questions and issues to Operations and Quality teams.
  • Apply basic product knowledge to communicate customer requirements effectively across departments.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion when addressing order and return requests that fall outside standard procedures.
  • Manage incoming emails and customer requests.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional and responsive communication.
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in training programs to expand product and process knowledge.
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Experience

  • Customer service, sales support, order processing, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience working within an ERP or order management system is a plus.
