SEO-SEM Specialist

As an SEO/SEM Specialist for Rittal LLC, you will be responsible for effectively managing all search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search platforms. Equally as important, you will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google and other search-based platforms in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and hit conversion metrics.

Responsibilities
 

  • Executing tests, collecting, and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns.
  • Managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies
  • Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
  • Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
  • Researching and analyzing competitor advertising links
  • Developing and implementing a successful link building strategy
  • Working with the Electronic Media team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Working with the marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Recommending changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Ensure web platform content is up to date on general corporate information.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, and other search-based platforms.
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., Shape, Marin, Optmyzr, Adalysis)
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Kissmetrics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multitask.
  • Works with a sense of urgency around time-sensitive tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative-taking and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced environment and easily adapt to change.
