Tasks:
* Work in a safe manner and comply with all HS&E, security and emergency requirements.
* Maintain a postive and healthy work environment.
* Maintain good attendance and work ethic.
*Lead a team of inspectors to drive process control and quality gates.
*Coach, Guide and develop direct reports to their full potential per the Quality Career Path.
*Maintain high product quality through continual process review and/or CpK analysis.
*Lead root cause analysis to improve KPIs.
* Support resolution of internal and external quality issues.
*Complete SMART performance reviews of staff.
*Communicate KPIs daily in start up meetings and in management meeting.
*Communicate systemic issue to Quality Management.
*Work as a team within department and across other deparments.
*Complete directives given in a timely manner and make/assist in determining logical decisions.
*Align 3 shifts to execute the same tasks uniformly
*Adapt your work schedule to accommodate the needs of the second and third shifts. Additionally, be prepared to work on day per week during off-shift hours.
*Lead preventive quality measures as the preferred means to improve both product and process quality and ensure sustainment.
*Interpret Rittal and customer requirements and effectively communicate to all parties
*Drive a quality culture
*Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Guidelines:
Work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi-task, learn office procedures and learn/use new software. Must be detailed oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written communications with all levels of employees and departments. Wear safety glasses with side shields, safety toed footwear, hearing protection and additional PPE as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift. The ability to lift 25-50 lbs to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders. Work at a computer and keyboard occasionally throughout the shift.
Responsibility:
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for coaching, guiding, developing direct reports and reporting to management on KPIs and Improvments with minimal support .Responsibilities and duties include making decisions about product quality and recommending changes in measurements and specific steps. Provide continuous communication to interested parties regarding any performance issues, inspection findings or non-conformances. This is an essential role in manufacturing with a direct impact on customer satisfaction. This role will report to the Quality (Control) Manager and work with production personnel on a daily basis. Other work as directed.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* 2-year supervisory experience
*Timecard Management (SAP HR) Payroll
Necessary Skills:
* Ability to read and understand Blueprints / Bill of Material's / Article Text/WI
* Ability to use basic measuring equipment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications & SAP
* Proficient with data collection, reporting, analyzing, and acting upon for improvement.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Logical problem solving
* Basic knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015
