As the Mod Center Technician, you will… Be responsible for assembling, modifying, and packaging products according to customer specifications and Rittal quality and safety standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble components and products by following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
Perform deburring and painting operations as required
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently
Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards
Modify Rittal products to meet specific customer requirements
Package finished products for shipment or further processing
Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 6‑S and safety standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow
Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus
Skills & Knowledge
Strong mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring/inspection equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs to waist level and up to 25 lbs above shoulder level
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Safety Requirements
Safety-toed footwear
Safety glasses with side shields
Additional PPE as required

Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise typical of an industrial environment
