As the Product Marketing Manager - Data & Content you will be responsible for managing, updating, and enriching product data to drive an accurate, engaging, and consistent customer experience across digital platforms, including our website, channel partner websites, and third-party e-commerce marketplaces. This role will ensure product data and content align with marketing strategies, support sales partners, and enhance our go-to-market efforts. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and strategically minded, with the ability to collaborate across functions and contribute to the development of product marketing initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Product Data Management & Content Creation
- Assist in creating and maintaining product listings for the U.S. website, ensuring accuracy and consistency with brand standards.
- Support the cleansing, standardization, and updating of product data across platforms to ensure readiness for sales and marketing use.
- Help adapt and enrich product content for third-party e-commerce platforms to improve visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams to provide accurate and timely product information.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support data-related projects and improvements.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions around product data needs and enhancements.
- Perform regular audits of product data to ensure alignment with product images, specifications, and descriptions.
- Work with internal teams and external photographers to verify that product visuals match listings.
Process Support & Documentation
- Follow established processes for managing product data and suggest improvements where applicable.
- Assist in documenting procedures and best practices for internal use.
- Support product launches and marketing initiatives by preparing and updating product content.
- Conduct basic data audits to identify inconsistencies and report findings to senior team members.
- Help monitor product content performance and suggest improvements based on data insights.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic to intermediate functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, text functions).
- Familiarity with data import/export processes and content management systems.
- Exposure to AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic analytical skills to identify and report data issues.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 2–3 years of experience in product data management, digital content, or marketing support, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms or content management systems is a plus.
- Exposure to product marketing or digital merchandising is beneficial.
