Customer Quality Engineer – QC
Brief Summary:
The Customer Quality Engineer – QC serves as the primary quality interface for customers on production-related quality matters. This role focuses on issue resolution, audit support, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement within an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary customer contact for production quality issues and escalations
- Provide customer updates, quality reports, and quality business review support
- Lead structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa techniques
- Monitor quality metrics including PPM, warranty data, and customer scorecards
- Maintain and improve quality documentation such as control plans and FMEAs
- Support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools
- Collaborate with QA engineering on PPAP, APQP, and launch readiness
- Support supplier investigations and corrective action activities
- Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits
- Promote a strong quality culture across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality, or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of manufacturing quality experience
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, PPAP)
- Experience working directly with global customers
- Background in machining, metalworking, or assembly preferred
- CQE or Six Sigma certification preferred
