As the Supervisor of Quotations, you will manage a team that acts as a liaison between our cross-functional matrixed sales organization. You will help ensure that high-value complex deals in the pipeline sail through and get signed. You will gather all important stakeholders and information into one place and improve sales efficiency by preventing any bottlenecks. There will be custom pricing negotiations. quotations and contract management, creating and maintaining product and pricing-related documents. You will be working with all necessary departments to ensure accuracy and legal compliance with predefined templates and approvals for documents such as quotes, signoffs, SLAs, NDAs, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define expectations & standards for team performance and manage accordingly.
  • Develop and implement tools and processes for team members and instill a performance culture
  • Establish, manage, & train staff to a training plan; define and realize developmental plans for each team member.
  • Monitor, measure & evaluate performance metrics for the team as a whole & each individual team member to isolate and identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales in drafting order documents, quoting, pricing, products, and commercial terms.
  • Review, edit and finalize quotes and other customer-facing documents for correct prices, quantities, SKUs, legal language, etc.
  • Team with other departments and regions to identify and escalate any non-standard quote structure to relevant stakeholders to ensure acceptability. Ensure all approvals are obtained and documented according to internal policies.
  • Mastering the entire quote process from start to close to help facilitate all aspects of the role such as contract negotiations, order preparation, contract signatures, and C4C/SAP Data management.
  • Act as the point of contact between Sales, Accounting, and Legal and compile final order packages with absolute accuracy and support their preparation for customer signature.
  • Maintain and ensure the internal quotes policy, pricing, and deal process information repository is up-to-date and communicated to the organization.
  • Reporting on renewals & other related KPIs such as renewal bookings, gross & net retention, uplift, churn, down-sell, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements and assist in implementing agreed-upon changes.
  • Assist in special projects, as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Four years of experience in pricing, sales operations, financial analysis, or relevant experience working for a manufacturer and seller of industrial products preferred.
  • 2 years or more in a leader/supervisory position preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, highly organized, critical thinker with attention to detail, and great sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple activities and meeting established goals in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid math skills and the ability to analyze order data.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills with a track record of clear and concise communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
