Primary Activities/Duties:
  • Lead designated area/line to support production plan.
  • Ensure all operations are performed in a safe manner achieving a zero accident environment.
  • Meet/exceed all targets for quality, productivity, uptime on-time delivery and cost.
  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve a ‘World Class’ manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System.
  • Cohesively work with peers.
  • Lead your team to execute production requirements to support schedule.
  • Facilitate weekly RPS meetings and support all activities resulting from meetings.
  • Ensure OPM’s are executed on time, every time in your area.
  • Ensure work instructions are posted, employees are trained and execute to them.
  • Attend production, staff and project meetings as required.
  • Actively participate in improving the Fabrication department.
  • Support an ‘open door’ environment.
  • Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive work place environment.
  • Ensure team members are meeting/exceeding expectations and achieving goals.
  • Assist in providing timely and accurate feedback.
  • Assist in providing an accurate and timely response to schedule inquiries.
  • Continuously improve your own skills and competencies.
  • Drive 5S activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
