Job Summary: The Business Unit Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, supporting product launches, and working closely with Sales, Product Management, Communications and Live Marketing teams to ensure alignment with business goals. This role will serve as the primary liaison between product management, sales, and leadership, while utilizing market insights to help shape strategy, messaging and execution.

Compensation Range: $85K - $110K

Key Responsibilities:

Establish Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies leveraging global marketing strategy, product knowledge, regional customer insights, competitive analysis, and industry/segment/vertical trends. 
  • Identify growth opportunities for both existing and future products, including new market entry points and segment expansion.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, global and regional marketing teams, Vertical Market Managers (VMM), Sales, and Partners to drive alignment and execute on strategies.

Product Launches:
  • Act as a subject matter liaison/expert to guide marketing peers in creating content for both internal and external product launches.
  • Develop and support the creation of relevant product content, including key differentiators and strategic positioning, particularly within the assigned BU markets and verticals.
  • Partner with Product Management, VMMs, Content, Graphics, and Communications teams to produce impactful launch materials, such as collateral, digital media, case studies, and presentations.
  • Identify any pilot customers who would be willing and able to participate and share lessons learned and customer experiences.   Utilize the data to create content. 
Sales and Partner Readiness (Sales Enablement):
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and Training teams to develop account management training materials, ensuring readiness for effective marketing programs and campaigns, as well as product positioning and sales engagement.
  • Create external-facing training materials for partner sales teams and coordinate with Project Management and Training teams to facilitate partner training.
Partner Success Content Development: 
  • Develop and gather partner success stories, testimonials, and case studies for both internal and external use, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing strategy and objectives. 
Market Research and Insights: 
  • Work closely with market research analysts and vertical market managers to gather data and insights on customer and partner needs, market trends, and the purchasing decision-making process for targeted products. 
  • Formulate execution plans and implement. 
  • Act as the main contact for North American market trends, with a specific focus on the BU market and segments.
Industry Event and Tradeshow Participation:
  • Represent the company as an active participant at industry events and tradeshows, managing product selection for display and overseeing event-related marketing activities, working closely with the Communications and Live Marketing teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the central contact point for product management, sales, and communications/live marketing, facilitating communication and alignment across teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy development, product launches, and marketing content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics) preferred.
