Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 – $160,000 (Does not include variable bonus)

Primary Activities/Duties
- Manage one or more key accounts by directing activities related to the overall business relationship.
- Vertically penetrate all aspects of specified accounts including purchasing, engineering, marketing, sales, and senior management.
- Grow sales revenue by expanding existing key accounts and identifying new strategic opportunities.
- Establish annual goals for each account focused on quality, pricing, and delivery improvements.
- Understand and monitor account-specific quality goals and Rittal’s performance against them.
- Prepare schedules and timelines for new product introductions and transitions.
- Develop and implement supply methods for standard and custom products.
- Ensure supply systems comply with Rittal Corporation guidelines.
- Understand account forecasting systems and their impact on Rittal’s capacity planning.
- Periodically review and improve supply chain performance to meet customer expectations.
- Assist in planning and coordinating product transitions and launches.
- Manage pricing structures and ensure alignment with global strategies.
- Serve as liaison between corporate, regional, and international offices and customers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and communication across all departments.
- Ensure departmental compliance with ISO standards and company objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, marketing, business management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of key account management experience; global account experience preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience selling industrial or technology-based products, ideally in automation or power distribution.
- Experience managing direct and indirect sales channels (distributors, VARs, integrators).
- Strong work ethic, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage virtual, remote field sales teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM system experience preferred.
