As we continue to grow and navigate the dynamic landscape of technology, we are now seeking an individual who shares our passion for innovation and customer enablement – a charismatic, entrepreneurial, and visionary Senior Business Development Executive with a proven track record working within the Industrial Automation space. The Senior Business Development Manager at EPLAN LLC will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our ambitious growth strategy in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute go-to-market strategies initiated by EPLAN HQ and local teams.
  • Identify potential new products for the US market.
  • Launch and manage business development initiatives to fuel company growth.
  • Coordinate Team Red efforts to ensure accountability and results.
  • Collaborate with HQ in Germany for business development, with a focus on Cloud transition.
  • Act as the coordinator for US market requirements, conducting market research and consolidating requirements from stakeholders.
  • Help the organization define future strategy
  • Managing project timelines, scopes, and running high level project objectives.
  • Develop and deliver executive level presentations.  
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role; a background in Engineering or Sales and Marketing is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrate in-depth experience within the industrial automation ecosystem.
  • Be willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Have working knowledge of MS Office tools, Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, and PDM/PLM systems.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong aptitude for teamwork.
  • Exhibit exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities.
  • Be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and open to coaching.
  • Have a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Display strong business acumen and ability to conduct financial and economic assessments.
  • Have a solid understanding of industrial processes and tools, market dynamics, and opportunities.
  • Be capable of implementing and overseeing internal controls.
Organization & Contact:
This position reports to the EPLAN Vice President North & South Americas and works closely with the Managing Director of EPLAN LLC. You will have the opportunity to influence and collaborate across all company functions, regularly engaging with our senior leadership to ensure alignment and progress towards our strategic goals.
