We are currently looking for a driven, customer-focused Technical Sales Representative to grow our market presence in the Montreal & Eastern Ontario territory, reporting to the Regional Sales Director. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying solutions, and driving business results. You’ll work closely with distributors, system integrators, OEMs, and end users to promote Rittal’s comprehensive portfolio of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the territory.
  • Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with channel partners, distributors, and internal sales support.
  • Track opportunities, forecasts, and activity using CRM tools.
  • Attend industry trade shows, customer events, and training sessions to stay current on market trends and product innovations.
  • Provide ongoing market feedback, competitive insights, and customer intelligence.
What you bring
  • 2–5+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in industrial, electrical, automation or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Salary Range
  • $60000 - $70000 / year base + commission

Nous recherchons actuellement un représentant technique des ventes axé sur le client pour développer notre présence sur le marché pour le territoire de Montréal et de l’Est de l’Ontario, relevant du directeur régional des ventes. Ce poste est idéal pour un professionnel des ventes proactif qui s’épanouit dans la construction de relations, l’identification de solutions et l’obtention de résultats commerciaux. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les distributeurs, les intégrateurs de systèmes, les FEO et les utilisateurs finaux pour promouvoir le portefeuille complet de produits et services de Rittal.

Responsabilités clés

  • Élaborer et exécuter des plans stratégiques de vente pour atteindre les objectifs de revenus et de croissance.
  • Bâtir et maintenir des relations solides avec les clients actuels et potentiels du territoire.
  • Effectuer des visites sur place, des démonstrations de produits et des consultations techniques.
  • Déterminer les besoins des clients et collaborer avec les équipes internes pour offrir des solutions sur mesure.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les partenaires de distribution, les distributeurs et le soutien interne aux ventes.
  • Suivre les occasions, les prévisions et les activités à l’aide des outils CRM.
  • Assister à des salons professionnels de l’industrie, des événements clients et des séances de formation pour rester à jour sur les tendances du marché et les innovations de produits.
  • Fournir en continu des informations sur le marché, des analyses concurrentielles et l’intelligence client.

Ce que vous apportez

  • De 2 à plus de 5 ans d’expérience en vente externe B2B, de préférence dans les secteurs industriel, électrique, automatisé ou connexes.
  • Une expérience éprouvée en matière d’atteinte des objectifs de ventes et de croissance de parts de marché.
  • De solides compétences en communication, négociation et présentation.
  • Une aptitude technique avec la capacité de comprendre et de communiquer des solutions de produit.
  • Vous êtes motivé, organisé et à l’aise de travailler de façon autonome sur le terrain.
  • Un permis de conduire valide et une volonté de voyager dans le territoire assigné.

Fourchette salariale

  • 60 000 $ – 70 000 $ par année de base + commission
