We are seeking an experienced Director of Communications and Live Marketing to lead our communications team and elevate our brand through impactful messaging and large-scale events.

Job Summary: The Director of Communications and Live Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate communications, content strategy, and live event marketing, including large tradeshows and events. This role will lead a team of Communications Specialists and Managers to ensure alignment in messaging, content, and design. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, leadership expertise, and hands-on experience in event management and B2B communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management & Live Marketing:

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of large-scale tradeshows, conferences, and corporate events to maximize brand exposure and engagement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies that align with business goals, drive lead generation, and enhance customer and partner relationships.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design exhibit and attendee experiences that highlight the company’s value proposition and product portfolio.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships for logistics, booth design, audio-visual setups, and other critical event components.

Corporate Communications Strategy:

  • Define and lead the corporate communications strategy, ensuring consistency in messaging across all internal and external channels. 
  • Direct content creation, including press releases, newsletters, executive messaging, and thought leadership materials that reflect our brand and industry expertise.
  • Oversee internal communications collaboration with key company leaders. 

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Communications Specialists and Managers responsible for content, messaging, and design.
  • Drive a collaborative approach to content development, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to align messaging with corporate goals and product positioning.
  • Establish KPIs for team performance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work that resonates with target audiences and supports business objectives.

Brand & Message Consistency:

  • Ensure cohesive brand representation across all marketing collateral, event materials, digital platforms, and communications touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually compelling and strategically aligned assets that enhance messaging impact.
  • Establish and enforce brand standards, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand identity, values, and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, live marketing, or events management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a B2B manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing large-scale tradeshows and corporate events, including budget management and vendor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of content development, brand strategy, and messaging alignment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
